For the past few decades, the world has lived in audiovisual dimensions, where we communicate and perceive information through film. Unfortunately, the media culture of Esperanto hasn’t evolved, which gives the outside world every right not to notice Esperanto culture, which continues to live in a world of text.
We think Esperanto speakers shouldn’t forfeit their right to self-expression through video and we would like to propose a completely new format for a cultural event, which hasn’t yet existed in the Esperanto world.

Special events
During 1.5 hours, we would like to outline the modern problems of author rights and copyright, analyzing their destructive character for Esperanto culture and to present solutions of how to enrich Esperanto culture using modern free (copyleft) licenses. We will present the movement around free works, which is becoming more and more popular. I will reveal the secret of how it is possible to work with free works in the current world of severe copyright, with many examples.
